Should i plead not guilty
I was getting my merchandise out of my car wen all of a sudden the police pulls up behind us and tells me to sit on the curb. I ask him why he was pulling us over and he says that you cant park by a fire hydrant i wasnt directly in front of it. And there was no red paint right there, n-e way i told them i had under an ounce of pot on me should i plead not guilty wen i go to court. Oh and upon searching me

You should think about hiring counsel. This can be a blemish on your record and I would suggest an attorney like myself that regularly handles these types of cases.

Depending on your criminal history, you may be able to qualify for a diversion program or you might be able to plead this down to an infraction. Based on the circumstances of your search, you may also have a fair shake at getting the case dismissed. Don't hold your breath though as prosecutors don't have to do anything they don't want to. For best results, hire a private defense lawyer.
