Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Once you have plead guilty to a misdemeaner "brandishing a deadly weapon", a golf tee retreiver, (without legal counsel) can an attorney then be hired to change the plea?

Depending upon how long ago you pled guilty, there may still be time to try to change your plea. You will need the court's permission, and getting that permission won't be easy. By all means, hire a lawyer to help you. Your chances will be much better with counsel than on your own, but they still won't be good unless you have some unusual facts on your side.
