pleading the 5th
At prelim, the victim pointed out the defendent, but at trial the victim and witnesses plead the 5th while on stand. Does this help out the defendent in any way?

What questions were pending when they invoked the Fifth Amendment? There is no way to say whether or how these invocations will affect the case without this information.
