Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

If someone has pled to a count of 273.5 (e) (1) and sentenced to 10 ten years. He has 4 prison priors and 1 'strike'. Will he be eligible for 80 percent and can this kind of plee be considered a hidden strike, if he were to commit another crime in the future?

It's a safe bet that this individual will commit more crimes in the future, isn't it? 80% sounds about right. Individuals like this are said to be doing "life on the installment plan" and if he re-offends I am sure the judge will find a way to lock him up for as long as possible.
