Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Can the police take a DNA sample from me if I haven't been convicted of a cime?
Can the police kick in the door and search my bedroom that I rent in a home when they are looking for someone else and I have nothing to do with anything?

I agree with Mr. Marshall. There are also circumstances under which they could enter your bedroom without a warrant. Since I don't know what the circumstances actually were in your case, I can't say whether the police acted properly.
