Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
police asking for information
the police came to my house with a search warrant and found narcotics and scales and baggies. no one was arrested or sited and they have given my boyfriend 3 days to give them ''something they don't already know'' about his ''associate''. is this legal? what can they do to him if he doesn't give them any information?

Don't talk to the police. This is the best and most valuable advice you will ever receive from a lawyer.
When I say "Don't talk to the police," I mean that your lips and tongue should not move.
Please, pretty please, don't talk to the police.
