Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Are the police obligated by law to give me a copy of anything I have signed?
I was arrested for selling counterfeit (replica) watches online. The detective offered to wipe out the felony charges and all records if I take them to the person I bought them from. I signed an agreement but was not given a copy of anything except my release form.

The police are not obligated to give you a copy. Furthermore, they can not promise you that it will be a misdemeanor . Only the DA can do that. I would suggest that you immediately hire a criminal defense attorney. Furthermore you should not talk to the officer until you have an attorney.
