Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Police Officer hiring
California Law enforcement. Can a person who has been convicted of one count of contrib. to the delinquency of a minor in TN (in 1994) (3 charges total, 2 same charges dismissed) become a police officer in CA now? I was also charged with stat. rape and another contr. delinq. of a minor. All with the same girl. Her and I are married now. These charges (stat rape and contr delinq minor) were dismissed and exponged. The one misdemeanor is all that is there now. I have a B.S. from CSU in crim law enf. Please read the whole post and respond with a well thought out answer PLEASE???
