police report not arrest record

how can i find out if my name appears in a police report where my friend was arrested and had my credit card on him causing police to call me to see if he had permission to use it. They returned it to me but won't give me a copy of the police report.also if my name does appear how do I get it out of the report.

In addition to the advice of Mr. Stone, there is nothing that you can tell the police that will remove your name from the police report. More probably it will result in the police adding more information about to the report and involving you in the illegal conduct.

Leave the police alone. Don't talk to the police. Nothing good can come from it.
