Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

my girlfriend and i were arguing when a neighbor called the cops. the cops came in after me opening the door they grabed me and put me in cuffs. once entering they found my marijuna parifinalia such as a bong, and a bottle of seeds i have been collecting for decoration. they even took the ashand sticks that was in the ashtray. then they charged us with posesion of less than an oz of marijuna. is this the right charge or should i be charged with parifinlia?

Perhaps there is no right charge here as the cops' behavior in barging into your house might have been illegal.
