Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Possession of Narcotics
I gave a friend a ride and stopped at a market place. I went to the versateller and he got out of the car and obviously got into the car with a person unknown to me and transacted a drug deal. Got back into my car and we proceeded down the street to take him home and were pulled over, police said because I was flicking ashes out my window. Asked me to get out of the car and found I had nothing on me...... Searched him and found drugs. Told me I was not in trouble and then 15 minutes later searched my car. Came back to me and asked me if the bag in the car was mine? Yes,... I had no idea there was anything in the bag that would incriminate me. I don't know if it was planted or by whom. I was taken to jail and let go on o/r within two hours?

Re: Possession of Narcotics
And your question is...? But seriously, you have a lot of exposure here. There's much more to this than meets the eye, and a fuller discussion of all the facts needs to occur in order to determine just how much trouble you could be in. I suggest you have a consultation with a criminal lawyer in your neighborhood. Many attorneys give these consultations for free. Good luck.
