I presume you are talking about PC 1000, not Prop. 1000. There is no such thing. There is Prop. 36 which is also a type of diversion/drug treatment program like PC 1000.

Yes, your successful completion of PC 1000 would result in complete dismissal of your case at the end of either a 1 year or 18 month probation. Depending upon where you are, the program might involve random drug testing. If you get PC 1000 do everything you can to stay on it by testing clean and attending your classes. Generally, the period of actual supervision on PC 1000 is short so don't blow it. If you fall off PC 1000 you would be put on Prop. 36 which is much harder and more demanding. Falling off Prop. 36 means jail time.

Before agreeing to do PC 1000 diversion I would have a lawyer review your case. Perhaps it could be beaten on illegal search and seizure or other grounds.
