Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
posting bail
I posted bond for my fiancee using my
truck, I didn't have the 10% cash. The
bondsman took the vehicle and said if
we don't pay by 15th, he will keep it.
He called and told us to pay or he will
arrest my fiancee. The court hearing
isn't until June. Can he do that?

Re: posting bail
The bail bondsman can revoke the bond at any time he has reason to believe that the bond is at risk. If you do not pay the bondsman had the right to revoke the bail. That is done by turning the person in to the authorities.
