Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I have been charged in a case (embezelment\grand theft)where I am going to represent myself.Could you tell me what forms I need as in motion for discovery of evidence and other steps needed. Also maybe a good self help resource on the web for someone needing in pro per info.

Why don't you do an apprenticeship program, and let the Public Defender represent you. You can then observe what's going on and represent yourself in all your future criminal prosecutions.
The D. A. will turn over all the discovery he/she has and then hand you an order for you to do the same. Anything special that you think the D. A. has you can set a discovery motion. This information is in either the county law library, or the court house library in which you'll be stumbling around defending yourself. Call the clerk in the judge's court in which your case is being handled and ask him/her when motions are set, and give the D. A. 10 days notice.
You might also consider dating a female law student, and let her do all your research work.
