Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
As a Pro Per on a criminal matter. Do you have to advise the D.A. (prosecutor) if you have a witness that will be testifying at the preliminary hearing?
How do you introduce a witness at the preliminary hearing?
NOTE: One witness was interviewed by the police.
The other witness was not.
This is in California.
Thank you,

If you need to ask such basic questions you should not be defending yourself. Your work is only going to get more complex, and there will be many more opportunities for you to make crippling mistakes. Hire a lawyer if you can afford one, and get a public defender if you can't. I hope you still have time to get counsel, and that you haven't damaged your case irreparably already.
