Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I am on probation and going to drug court in san joaquin county but i got arrested on yolo county and have a court date in yolo county. if yolo county drops the charges can san joaquin pick them up and violate me?

Yes. San Joaquin county can violate you based on the facts of your arrest in Yolo County.
It's easier for the prosecution to get a probation violation than a conviction. You are not entitled to a jury trial for a probation violation, and the prosecution only has to convince the judge it's more likely than not that you violated, instead of proving its case beyond a reasonable doubt.
