Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

"probation search", but I was not on probation.

They came into my house, on a "probation search", they found 1/2 ounce of meth., and a scale. I got a signed paper from the probation stating I had been off of probation. In court the judge "dismissed without predjudice". A few months later I get a letter from the court saying they are charging me with the same things. How can that be? Is this a violation of my civil rights by coming into my house without a search warrant since I was not on probation at all?

You must be sure to appear in court as may be required. Second you should hire an attorney to help you get the charges dismissed.

Also get a transcript of the court appearance in which the judge dismissed the case.

There is no simple answer to your question.
