Probation violation/Forgery/Embezzlement

I am on mail-in probation for a grand theft charge, that in the beginning included forgery and embezzlement then reduced to grand theft and a misdemeanor. Now I am facing charges of forgery and grand theft of $14,000 along with probation violation(involved in illegal activities). What is the possible punishment if I am working and able to pay restitution. No jail time for previous offense.

The punishment depends upon the Penal Code section(s) they are alleging you violated. Generally, a person will serve time on forgery, grand theft and a probation violation. Restitution will also be part of the sentence. Depending upon the progression of the case, a good attorney may be able to negotiate with whom the embezzlement occurred before taking the case to the District Attorney.
