Probationer request for travel permit
A relative on probation in Yolo County has been repeatedly denied a travel permit to work in another state. He is unemployed and homeless (lives in his truck). Does he need a lawyer for this permit?

Re: Probationer request for travel permit
An attorney will improve his chances to get permission to move to another state. His chances of getting permission will depend upon why he is on probation. If it is a sex crime it is unlikely he will get permission. Both California and the other state must agree on the move.
