Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
this is a problem that my friend has:
My friend and her roommate live in the same room. About two weeks ago, my friend's roommate had lost her passport. However, her roommate found her passport in my friend's bag and it was been raped somehow. My friend's roommate thought that my friend was the one who raped her passport but my friend did not do it. What can my friend do when she is in this situation.

When you say raped do you mean ripped.? I guess based on circumstances it could be inferred that it was ripped by your friend, since she had it... Ripped passports need to be replaced, since they cant be used... It may be cheaper to buy a new oneb than deal with the legalmissues
