Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Is the prosecutor of a trial-to-be allowed to share evidence that will be used to prosecute me with people that are merely friends and unrelated to the trial? If not, can I have the entire case dismissed because of that?

The prosecutor is generally allowed to disclose her evidence if she wants to. The defendant has no say in the matter. Is there something unusual about your case that you feel justifies a different result?
Not based on what you are telling us. Most court hearings are public, and criminal hearings have always been public, they just aren't filmed as much since People v. Simpson. The public would have the opportunity to see the evidence anyway, so I fail to see what the issue would be. It seems as though you are fishing around for some technicality to get you out of trouble. Don't waste your time with such foolishness and get yourself a decent criminal defense attorney.
