Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
prosecutorial misconduct
Ex had gang members severely beat me up, PD pictures were taken (blood everywhere), required medical care. PD gave me a report number; there was nothing they could do. Ex was once diagnosed with a personality disorder (I have a copy of psychiatric evaluation) she was always trying to commit suicide, she would cut herself. Ex tried to beat up my current girlfriend. I had to move away. Six months later my psychotic ex filed a sexual assault accusation against me with ten other counts. The detective knows about when I was beaten up, psychiatric evaluation, and intentionally withheld info form the DA. This case has misconduct all over it. Should I go to the DOJ, another government entity? Researching I found corruption, lying, the withholding of exculpatory information. I am completely innocent of these false accusations, but the system doesnt care, the system wants me to plea bargain out. Most attorneys know that 95% of all cases end with a plea bargain, but they charge their clients as much money as they can and then settle in a plea bargain, something that a public defender does anyway. Its not a bargain when you know you are innocent and the actual victim of the crime. Sincerely: Been to hell and back.

Re: prosecutorial misconduct
If you're innocent, DON'T PLEAD. No matter what. Don't let them sell you a plea. Demand a trial. When you plead, you give up the right to appeal, and so many other rights.
