public defender/ client confidentuality

can a public defender violate the client / attorney confidentuality on the same case he was removes from, by the courts, for not fulfilling his legal obligation and creating a conflict of interest.?

There are very few exceptions to the attorney-client privilege. I would need to know more about your case before I could say whether any of them might be present.

You haven't told us what the lawyer said that you believe breached the privilege. It is possible that what the lawyer revealed was not covered by the privilege. It's also possible that both he and the other person are within the privilege, especially if the other person was your next lawyer.
