Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was pulled over by a highway patrol officer on June 1st of this year on my motorcycle and the officer used excessive force by grabbing me by my motorcycle jacket and dragging me about 10 feet just because I was asking him a question, and on top of it give me a ticket when in fact the officer had his car Parked in the entrance of the express lane on 680 south freeway. So to avoid collision with him I by phased him then got into the express lane. Then I try file a complain with the department they are saying there was no excessive force. So I said lets review the audio video recording device to proof so and they are saying no we didn't have one that day. So what can I do can you or anyone give more info about my rights

If your question is whether you can sue the officer for use of excessive force that is a civil question--not a criminal issue.
yes post again in civil ... police misconduct litigation. Good luck!
