Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I purchase gift cards with a 2 Customers credit card ( used a pri t out bs the credit card) is this considered a felony? Total amount 500.00. My empLoyer told me the customer was pressing charges can I have the charges dropped if the person changes their mind?

It may be multiple felonies, at both the state and federal levels. Whether to drop charges is up to the prosecutor and not the victim, but it doesn't sound like you've been charged yet. Perhaps you won't be.
Even so, you should be very careful about approaching the victim -- or about having someone else approach her for you. If you even appear to be trying to pressure her, you could be charged with additional crimes. And the victim may be able to testify about what you say, as evidence that you know you have her money.
Your best bet is to get an experienced criminal defense attorney in your area as soon as possible. Don't wait for charges to be filed.
