Question about informal probation
My son got informal probation (647 i think)for petty teft as a juvenile, and he's currently 18. He completed all requirements such as community service hour. However, he got traffic ticket for failed to stop while pedestrian was crossing the crosswalk. Would it influence his probation judgement if he turns out to be guilty of that violation?

Re: Question about informal probation
Thanks for your inquiry. Typically, infractions, such as traffic tickets, do not trigger a probation violation. If the case against your son (the new case) is a misdemeanor or felony, then it would be, or could be, a probation violation.
