Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Raids by the feds

we were raided by the feds and were handcuffed for 7 hours without anything to eat or drink. We have dogs in our backyard that we were denyed the permission to feed or give water to during that 7 hour period as well. But, when lunch hour came around the officers all ate and had lunch inside our house in front of our faces. Me and my 12 year old daughter were also slammed up against the hallway wall by one of them with his arm. Is all this legal? The search warrant said they were looking for drugs and weapons, which they did not find because we don't use drugs or weapons! I don't know where they got their information from but they still took my husband into custody and now he's being held for attempted murder. Another thing that is totally false! He definately did not do this. I believe he is being framed but I don't know by who or why. There are also 3 other people being charged for the same crime. Does the victim of the attempted murder have to show up at court and testify? What if he doesn't show up? Also, I mentioned in a previous question of mine, that my husband still has not been assigned a public defender to this day. They keep saying the caseloads are too full. What could we do?
