Research Project: Can an adult man identified as a forcible rapist by the female victim (adult or under-age) still get out on bail, or must he stay in jail until trial?

Bail can only be denied under unusual circumstances. Even murder suspects are often granted bail. It will generally be available in forcible rape cases, though the amount may be rather high.
