Reason for Termination

What to do when you have been terminated from your job(8 months later) because of your criminal background, when you wrote this information on your application before being hired and now the job says you can't be bonded because of the same information and you were terminated? You even waited (2 weeks) for a background check to return, before being hired. This is a financial company.
