Who is this asking for the restitution. Is it a court order? Or is it Home Depot? If its Home Depot, I would ignore it and they can sue you if they like. It is unlikely that they will sue you. They can't get blood from a turnip.
If its the court, they cannot put you in jail if you genuinely are unable to pay. We no longer have debtor's prisons in this country. Is this a civil penalty. Again they can sue you and it can go on your record but they cannot put you in jail if you are unable to pay.
