Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I received a notice to appear in court because I violated my probation by failing to pay the fines associated with my probation. If i pay the fine before or on the court date, will this clear the violation?

Typically not. The violation occurred with the lack of payment. However, paying before the Court date usually will give you an easier time when you are in front of the Judge.
