The judge said if i dont do the community labor and pay fines i will be doing 180 days county jail time. Out of 180 days approximately how many days will i be servining? This is in LA county.

It really depends on the individual county. However, a general rule of thumb is 1/3 good time credits. So if LA county follows that formula then you would serve approximately 120 days. The good time credit comes off the 180 days and so 60 days from the 180 leaves 120 days. However, it really depends on how the county operates. I'm in Sacramento County and here it would work as I have explained it.

Good luck,
