Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was recently cited for public urination in Oxnard, CA. More specifically vioalting Oxnard Municipal Code 7-143. Is this issue just a pay the fine and done or if by paying the fine will I be guilty of a crime and a criminal record started for me?

You better get a lawyer. When you get to court you could find out you're being charged with indecent exposure. Your criminal record would then include having to register as a sex offender for life.
