An illegal arrest was made and the case is to be dismissed? How does one request or make sure that this will not be on record? Please advise if you need more information

If the case is in fact dismissed, there will be no record of any conviction of course. However, the record of arrest will remain unless there is an application made to have it removed. Such application requires proof of innocence and an attorney.
