Check Penal Code Section 1203.4 for felonies, and 1203.4a for misdemeanors. The criminal clerk should have some forms that you can fill out at the appropriate time.

Thanks for your posting. With all respect to my co-counsel, it does depend on what stage your case is, but the appropriate penal code section is 17(b) -- that code section allows a judge to consider the facts of the case as charged, the elements as proven, and reduce the case to a misdemeanor in the interests of justice.
