reducing prior sentence
Is there a way to reduce a prior conviction? From possession for sale to simple possession for .78 grams of crak cocaine.

Thanks for your posting.
There are a couple of ways to reduce your conviction.
One is to ask the court to reopen your case, withdraw your plea of guilty, and and negotiate for reduction of your case.
Another is to apply to the court to terminate probation and reduce your charges to a misdemeanor or to another crime.
Both require a motion before the court.
Thanks again, and I hope this helps. If you have other questions or need more information, please feel free to email me or call me at 1-877-568-2977 (toll free).
