Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Release Date
If your given 1 year county jail and then your release date shows 8 months. Do you actually do less time than the 8 months or do they strictley enforce that amount of time? Also does restitution affect your probation?

Re: Release Date
The release date probably takes into account all good time, and work time credits.
Non payment of restitution can result in probation being extended. In many cases when restitution completed probation will be shortened.
