Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Release of information
If you told a therapist something without signing a release of information, can what was said be released if at a later date you do sign a release of information or is that still considered confidential since it was prior to the signing?

Re: Release of information
An unrestricted release would allow the therapist to release all information. If you want to restrict it, you'd have to insert cut off dates into the release.
