Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Relief from Firearms Prohibition - Up-date

I have been advised that although I have requested a Hearing (I have Case # and date stamp on my request) that I probably will not get one. I was told that the D.A. (or Judge) might review it and decide that I don't have a chance of having it overturned in court, so it won't even get put on the calendar.

In my copy of the ''Request'', it states that the I will be advised --within 30 days -- the date of my Hearing.

Can they just ignore my request and not even let me know?

You used the word "update," but you did not give details as to your original posting. In any event, this is the type of matter you are likely to lose unless you have an attorney. Good Luck.
