Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I rent a house in California and have roommates and one of them I do not get along with and recently he was so angry with me that he took a good amount of my clothing. Is it possible for myself to press charges on him for theft or is it an illegal act to begin with?

You can report it to the police and they may recommend that the DA press charges. But your best bet is probably to sue your roommate in small claims court.
