Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Am considering reporting a person for welfare fraud. It began approximately 2007ish. What I know is that this person under-reported income in order to obtain benefits. The under-reported income was then verified by the employer. Many checks have been cashed. What is the statute of limitations for this in California? Is it too late to report?
