Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I'm a resident of Califonia. I wanted to know if I was an ex-felon, been to prison and now off parole, do I get the right to vote? Again?

Generally in order for an ex-felon to have their rights restored they must request the court to restore those rights. In California an ex-felon can petition the court through a 1203.4 motion to have their rights restored. However, it must be done in the court where the felony conviction occurred. It can not be done in another court. It also will not restore the right to own or possess a firearm.
Good luck,
