Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
returning property after an arrest
i was recently arrested. the officer took 2 cell phones from my car of which was never impounded. these phones are valued @ over $500. upon bailing out i find that nether phone was on my property list. I watched the officer remove the phones from my car with my own eyes. what can i do about this?

You can file a complaint with the internal affairs. Bring the receipts for the purchase of the cell phones.
