If someone alreadys accepts a plea due under the persuasion of an attorney, can they have another attorney review their case to try and choose another option?

You have the option of withdrawing the plea but you must show good cause that you had inadequate representation.

Yes, you can get a second opinion any time you want. If you're going to move to withdraw your plea because of persuasion by your lawyer, you have to move quickly. You may not succeed, but you won't be any worse off than you are right now. So it's probably a good idea to at least have a consultation with another attorney right away to discuss your options. Since it's the court that accepts your plea, and then the plea is entered. I can't tell if you've plead yet, or simply indicated you will plead sometime in the future. If you've entered a plea already and want to withdraw it then do what the first attorney answering this question told you to do. If you haven't entered a plea. Seek the advise of as many people (attorneys also) as possible.

Thanks for your posting. As you can see by the answers above, YES it is possible to get your plea reviewed. You cannot choose another option, however, until you withdraw your plea of guilty, which can only be done for cause (legalese for "a good reason"), and only by motion to the court.
If you are going to seek the advisement of a lawyer, do it now, as there are time limits that might apply.
I hope this helps -- but if you have any other questions, please email me at [email protected], or call me toll free at 1-877-568-2977, and best of luck.
