That depends on the policies of the county you are in. In most California Counties, the Court files are public record and the general public, including the defendant, may view them (under staff supervision, of course). Some counties have certain information on line. Others have nothing available on line at all. A particular County may also have some provision that prohibits a party from reviewing the court file. So, it may not be possible for you to see the file.
