Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

reward questions anonymous please

i have a friend who has information (narco terrorism) to

give to FBI or DOJ, which agency is better to use to

keep the person anonymous.

Will this person be protected and able to remain

anonymous. They are only giving information not a

participant in any way with illigal activity.

If there is a reward how will the person know?

How will they know what rewards they are intitled to if

any and make sure they get the reward.

Re: reward questions anonymous please

Thank you for your posting.

Information on most crimes are not given based upon a reward, and a reward would have to be given publicly to be a valid offer. Typically, you can give information anonymously, but it is more difficult to collect a reward anonymously.

One of the best known tip services for various crimes is wetip, which is completely anonymous, at http://www.wetip.com/.

I hope that this information helps, but if you want more information, have further questions, or feel that you need legal representation, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. It's my pleasure to assist you in any way that I can.
