Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Reward for stolen property

I (more or less) accidently stole some keys from my school. They are master keys, and replacing the locks would cost thousands of dollars.I wouldve returned them immeadiatly, but due to office hours I was not able to.Over the weekend in which I posessed the keys, they were taken from me and used to commit theft of property valued at no more than $80.So now there is a ''witch hunt'' for the person with the keys.Today a reward for the keys in the amount of $200 was put out with the notice ''no questions asked''.My question is,if i return them, would the notification which was printed in the bulliten act as some sort of indirect legal contract from them to me.Will I be able to return them and recieve the reward without fear of consequence?
