Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

i was riding bycycle with no lights got pulled over, i gave him my i.d. he ran my name came back clear, ask me if he could search me i said no, and he says well thats not the answer of a innocent person so he starts lookin at my eyes and says im high on meth, i said i wasnt but he inssisted that i was. So he says ok if u tell the truth i can(him) be on my way so can you if not im going to jail. This is after im put in hand cuffs and im arrested for 11550. Then he gives me another chance to tell the truth i say yes i used earlier. Which i did but not much a couple of hits it wasnt that good so i dont see how it could of effected me like it says it was with all the test. He takes me to the staition does more test i have to take a urine sample and i did. my question is was there any kind of wrong doing in his part,. also im not on probation or parole. NOW i have court date. im thinki9n my test will come back negative. Sob i think cuz i told him no about searchin me rthats why he arrested me to see if i had something on me.

If convicted of intoxicication of meth you could serve 90 days plus..if the things happened in the exact irder as yu describe there may be some issues to be raised... Miranda may be one... My best advice get an attorney fast

I agree with Mr. Green. You need an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, you should ask the court to appoint the public defender to represent you. Don't speak to the police, or think that you can talk yourself out of this. Only speak to your attorney. Your attorney will need as much information as possible to see if they can bring a motion to exclude some evidence, or get you into a program to avoid jail.

This sounds like a Miranda violation to me. There may be other issues you can raise as well. But don't try to do it yourself. Get a competent defense lawyer asap. If you can't afford to hire one, ask the court to appoint a public defender to represent you.
