what is the sentence for someone who has never been in jail/prison before and is facing robbery and conspiracy charges?

No sentence, unless you get convicted. Otherwise expect prison time.

Depending upon the seriousness of the conduct, a probationary sentence, with or without county jail time, might be possible.
