please help me I am very scared
Hi you just answered my question about the rape charge. I already talked to the police and gave my statement. I didnt know what to do. It is my first time that I am involved in this situation. What do I do know. Please help me. I live in Oakland, Ca and you said not to talk to a district attorney or a attorney offered by the city. What do I do then??

First you will not get the help you need over the internet.

Second your email to Lawguru is not privileged. If the prosecution finds these emails they could potentially be used against you.

Third you should start the process of retaining an attorney to represent you if charges are filed. Talking to an attorney may help calm your fears. The attorney will be in a better position to discuss the matter with the district attorney than you will be.
